Promoting Senior Wellness In Dardanelle, AR Through Inspirations

Everyone ages, and is therefore faced with the possibility of decreased independence to live life on their own terms. As physical and mental facilities diminish, so too may enthusiasm for living wane. At River Valley Medical Center, we believe that this unfortunate chain of events doesn't have to be inevitable, which is why we've instituted our Inspirations program for adults aged 55 and up. By gradually integrating outpatient therapeutic counseling into the lives of individuals with mild to moderate psychiatric symptoms, we can promote healthier living through a more robust ability to adapt to physiological, psychological and logistical changes and challenges. Our patients have seen a renaissance of rejuvenation, resilience and enthusiasm, and we are proud to recommend this program as both a preventative and active treatment solution.

Please take a look at the information below, or give us a call to determine if Inspirations is right for you or your loved one.

About Inspirations

Our central goal is to equip seniors with the tools they need to age with agency and grace. Inspirations seeks to take care of the whole patient, rather than simply focusing on a single aspect of their health. From healthy eating to demystifying smartphones and computers to dealing with disability, our program is designed to reduce depression and promote a more active lifestyle well into your Golden Years.

We provide three interactive group sessions a day, with a snack break and lunch at 11:30 a.m. in a family dining atmosphere. Patients spend approximately three hours a day, during their treatment days, at Inspirations.

Transportation is provided with a trained staff to operate ADA, wheelchair accessible vans for pickup and return to home or assisted living facilities.
